Class News 14.7.23

Another busy week in Year 4. In English we have been devising our own monster to live under the bed, making sure we used the correct speech punctuation and show not tell sentences. Maths has all been about shapes, both 2D and 3D, with tricky challenges to keep our brains active. We continue with our Design and Technology project to sew our own plushy fish. On Moday we had a fantastic sports day. A big thank you to all those parents and family members who came along. Wednesday morning we all went to Middlesbrough Town Hall for Young Readers. We met Ross Welford, a fantastic author who also performed some amazing magic tricks. Today all the Year 4 children will be bring home their report which includes information on their next class teacher.

We hoped you enjoyed the assembly on Tuesday afternoon. It was wonderful to see so many people there to help celebrate with the children.

Have a great weekend everyone. Remember the children only come in for four days next week, so Thursday will be the final day of Year 4 and we will say our goodbyes to the Y6.
