We have had a fantastic week in Year Two. Over the week, the children have undertaken lots of jobs, looking at Reading, SPAG and Maths. The children all tried incredibly hard and we are so proud of each and everyone of them.
In our English lessons, we have focused on developing our editing skills. We have completed shared edits as well as making improvements to our own work. In our Maths lessons, we have been consolidating our knowledge of fractions.
Our topic next half term is Kings, Queens and Castles. This topic explores the history of castles in our local area and how monarchs have changed over time. We are really excited to be visiting Raby Castle, on Friday 5th June, as part of this topic. If you have not already done so, please head over to the Arbor app to complete your consent form and payment.
Thank you for your support this half term, and we hope you have a wonderful half term break!
