We have had another brilliant week in Year Two. It has been wonderful to see the children’s maturity continue to develop. In our English lessons, we have been writing our own version of the Supertato story. The children used their own characters and settings to write their narratives. It was wonderful to see the fantastic work that the children produced.
In our Maths lessons, we have been learning about fractions. Over the week, we have learnt about unit and non-unit fractions as well as identifying a whole.
This half term, our topic is ‘Weather and Climate’. This topic explores the differences between weather and climate and how we predict and measure the weather each day.
Notices

As the seasons change, we would like to showcase all of the wonderful things that you do at home in Summer. Please send in any photos of the fun activities, adventures, days out, or special moments so that the children can share them with the class. The children really enjoy talking about their experiences and seeing what their friends have been doing.
