Class news 24.3.23

We’re at the end of our fourth week of learning already! This week we had lots of fun learning one of our class poems ‘Where do all the teachers go?’. We performed the poem in our first ever NB poetry slam on Thursday with actions we created together. We really enjoyed having the opportunity to learn and perform a poem and also to watch all the other classes from KS1 & 2 do the same. In maths, we continued our work on fractions and multiplication. We learnt more about bees during our guided reading sessions. We read about ways to save bees and more about the anatomy of a honey bee. In PE, we developed our balancing skills. We’re looking forward to our last gymnastics lesson next Wednesday. We also spent some time on guided meditation. We enjoyed spending a little bit of time relaxing and unwinding after a busy day. We’ve added a video below you might want to watch if you need a few minutes to relax. We ended the week with a super science lesson all about teeth.

Have a lovely weekend everyone. We look forward to seeing you Monday for our last week of this half term.

Reminder – Don’t forget to bring your homework books in by next Tuesday 28th March. We look forward to hearing about all of the things you’ve enjoyed doing outside of school.
