Weekly News-31.3.23

We have done it! Well done Year 3 for finishing Spring Term! It has been a busy 5 weeks but we got there in the end.

This week, it was lovely to see the parents who attended Parents’ Evening. Mrs Savage and Mrs Hilton enjoyed sharing news about the children and targets.

In English, we have been publishing our King Charles diaries and we also created some lovely Easter and Spring Acrostic poems.

In Maths, we completed our fractions unit of learning and moved onto measuring mass. We will finish off the Mass and Capacity unit after Easter.

In topic, the children worked in groups and presented information about the 4 countries that make up The UK. The children loved presenting and making a video.

We have ended the week with lots of fun Easter and Spring activities and the children enjoyed taking part in the big school raffle – Well done to those Year 3s who won some yummy chocolate eggs.
