A Super Week Year 3! 3.2.23

Well done everyone this week! The children have been trying their best in their work and enjoyed and completed their activities.

In English, the children have completed their ‘Stone Age ‘ Stories and Mrs Hilton and Mrs Savage have been super proud with how some children have developed their sentences and created exciting and amazing stories.

In Maths, we have been learning about length, using different equipment and learning about mm, cm and m. The classes have been measuring different objects and thinking about the correct units and even challenged themselves with converting measurements.

In Science, the children have been learning about a famous researcher – Mary Anning, who was a palaeontologist and enjoyed discovering different types of fossils and found a large sea creature that can now be seen in the National History Museum

In PE, Mrs Short has been in helping the children develop their skills further in Hockey. The children have really enjoyed this sport and learnt how to stop the ball and score, attacking and defending.

We have also learnt more on our topic, guided reading and practiced on duolingo (French).
