Weekly news 30.06.23

A busy and super Week 4 this week in Year 3! It has been ‘Healthy Schools Week’ but unfortunately we did have to cancel the morning sporting event due to rain. However on a positive note we have been able to enjoy another practise for the re-scheduled event. In the Healthy Schools Week assembly the children had the opportunity to win prizes in the raffle so thank you for buying the tickets. We have also had a visit from the Middlesbrough Fire Brigade in assembly to talk about fire safety.

In English, the children have been planning an exciting diary from a Roman Mosaic Maker’s point of view.

In Maths, the children have been developing skills in their statistics and taking part in multiplication challenges with Mrs Matthewman.

In Topic, the children have learnt about what the Roman soldiers wore, labelled a soldier and wrote key facts.

In Art we have completed our marvellous mosaic art work. Keep an eye out for our wonderful artwork on the day of our class assembly as it will be displayed in the dining hall as you arrive.

Have a lovely weekend and we will see you back in school on Monday!
