Well Done Year 3!- 20.1.23

A super week in Y3 this week and the children have been working their socks off. Well done everyone!

English – In English, we have been developing our creative ideas to help planning our narrative stories about a ‘Stone Age boy / girl’. The children have been developing their vocabulary, building on their noun phrases.

Maths – The children have been challenged this week with their multiplication skills, working out multiplying 2 digit numbers by 1 digit numbers. They really tried their best, solving problems too!

Science – In Science, we have been developing our knowledge on rocks, taking a closer look at a variety of rocks and identify some properties.

Guided Reading – In our whole class reading, the children read a non-fiction text about Stone Age facts, working through word meaning and retrieval questions and summarising the text.
