CLASS NEWS

Year 3 have had a super week this week and settled in well, ready for their new topic on ‘Wonders of the World’. In this topic, the children will be going on adventure- learning about the magnificent seven wonders of the world and where they are found around the world.

In English, the children began to plan their story about their fictional character going on an adventure on a bubble, visiting places like the Colosseum (Italy) and The Great Wall of China (China). They have been building on their descriptive ideas about these places by watching videos and looking at pictures. We can’t wait to read their stories!

In Maths, the children have been setting out their addition number sentences into Column addition and solving problems.

The children have began to learn about animals, including humans in their science lesson. They have been discussing in class what they already know and talking about what they want to find during this topic.
