Week 6 – 9th October

The children have really impressed the Key Stage One staff this week with their fantastic attitude and dedication to their learning. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. Throughout the week, we have continued our journey around the United Kingdom, with a particular focus on England. The children explored a range of England’s physical and human features and were amazed to discover how many mountains we have in England! They are looking forward to finding out more about Wales next week.

In English, we have continued to develop our grammar skills, concentrating on identifying subjects and verbs and using correct punctuation when writing sentences. In Maths, we have continued to explore addition and subtraction, learning how to add and subtract across the 10’s boundary.

Notices

As the seasons change, we would like to showcase all of the wonderful things that you do at home in Autumn. Please send in any photos of the fun activities, adventures, days out, or special moments so that the children can share them with the class. The children really enjoy talking about their experiences and seeing what their friends have been doing.

Pupil of the week

Pupil of the Week is Hudson for making a positive difference to others!

Well done Hudson!

Birthdays

We would also like to wish all the children in school, who are celebrating their birthday, a very Happy Birthday!
