Week 7 – 16th October

he children have continued to impress the Key Stage One staff this week with their fantastic attitudes and dedication to their learning. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved. Throughout the week, we have continued our journey around the United Kingdom, focusing on Wales. The children explored a variety of Wales’ physical and human features and were amazed to discover just how many mountainous Wales is! They are excited to continue their journey and learn more about Northern Ireland next week.

In English, we have continued to develop our grammar skills, focusing on identifying subjects and verbs and using the correct punctuation when writing sentences. In Maths, we have continued to explore addition and subtraction, practising how to add and subtract across the tens boundary.

Notices

As the seasons change, we would like to showcase all of the wonderful things that you do at home in Autumn. Please send in any photos of the fun activities, adventures, days out, or special moments so that the children can share them with the class. The children really enjoy talking about their experiences and seeing what their friends have been doing.

Pupil of the week

Pupil of the Week is Eliza for using different strategies to answer questions!

Well done Eliza!

Birthdays

We would also like to wish all the children in school, who are celebrating their birthday, a very Happy Birthday!
