It has been another fantastic week in Year Two. The children have continued to learn about their new topic of ‘The United Kingdom’, focusing on compass points and directions. They created their very own compasses and then used compass directions to send their friends on a treasure hunt. In our English lessons, they have been learning all about common and proper nouns. In Maths, the children have continued recapping over place value within 100, as well as counting in multiples of 2, 5 and 10.
Notices

As the seasons change, we would like to showcase all of the wonderful things that you do at home in Autumn. Please send in any photos of the fun activities, adventures, days out, or special moments so that the children can share them with the class. The children really enjoy talking about their experiences and seeing what their friends have been doing.
Pupil of the week

Pupil of the Week is Isabella for being a fantastic role model to others.
Well done Isabella!
Birthdays

We would also like to wish all the children in school, who are celebrating their birthday, a very Happy Birthday!
