It has been wonderful to welcome the children back into Year Two, this week. They have been share all of the amazing things that they did over the summer holidays. The children have started to learn about their new topic of ‘The United Kingdom’. We have begun to look at the United Kingdom and the countries that can be found there. We also completed some fantastic art around famous landmarks. In Maths, the children have been recapping over place value within 100, as well as counting in multiples of 2, 5 and 10. The children have made a fantastic start to the year, and we are looking forward to an amazing year with them.

As the seasons change, we would like to showcase all of the wonderful things that you do at home in Autumn. Please send in any photos of the fun activities, adventures, days out, or special moments so that the children can share them with the class. The children really enjoy talking about their experiences and seeing what their friends have been doing.
