We have had another fantastic week in Year Two! The children have continued to develop their knowledge of ‘The United Kingdom’, focusing on the different capitals of each country where they completed their own research. In their English lessons, we continued learning all about verbs. Over the week we further explored ‘to be’ verbs (is, as was, were, am) as well as action verbs. In Maths, the children have continued to consolidate their place value knowledge within 100, as well as counting in multiples of 2, 5 and 10.
Notices

As the seasons change, we would like to showcase all of the wonderful things that you do at home in Autumn. Please send in any photos of the fun activities, adventures, days out, or special moments so that the children can share them with the class. The children really enjoy talking about their experiences and seeing what their friends have been doing.
Pupil of the week

Pupil of the Week is Zuva for her determination and resilience.
Well done Zuva!
Birthdays

We would also like to wish all the children in school, who are celebrating their birthday, a very Happy Birthday!
