Whatever their age, it is important that children learn how to stay safe around water. Even our Nursery children can understand simple safety rules. Talking regularly with your child about water safety can help them recognise the risks and understand how to play safely in and around water.


Did you know, that by the end of primary school (Key Stage 2), the National Curriculum for PE states that all children in England must be able to swim 25 metres unaided, perform a range of recognized strokes, and execute safe self-rescue.
