Class News – 13.03.26

This week, children have been drawing on all their wonderful learning to complete assessments in Reading, Maths and English. The teachers have been amazed with the children’s efforts to answer questions and show what they know. A big well done to everyone!

In our topic, Marvellous Middlesbrough, we have been identifying some of the landmarks, buildings, industries and people that make Middlesbrough great! Many children were able to identify from pictures, places that they had been to or things they had seen. Furthermore, children created a Middlesbrough timeline identifying when particular features or people came to be recognised.

In Science we have continued to consider the essential requirements that plants need to grow. Moreover, continuing to monitor our experiment to see how removing one of these essential things will impact on the plants growth. Additionally, children have been excited about taking their own plant home and helping it to grow.

Also, times table homework books have been handed out this week, to be handed in on Tuesday. Well done to all those that have already completed their homework 🙂
