We have had a wonderful week in Year 1 and the children have worked incredibly hard!
In English, we finished writing our plan for our setting description and wrote it up.
In Maths the children have been showing us how amazing they are in maths.
In Topic, we have been exploring the different ways in which we can write to each other in the past and now.
Notices
Homework – Homework will be handed out every Friday to be returned the following Wednesday.
Spellings – spellings will be handed out every Friday for the children to practise ready for our spelling quiz the following Friday.
Coats -The weather is changing and is unpredictable. Please can children bring a coat to school every day.
Water bottles – Plastic water bottles only.
PE – Our PE days this term are Wednesday and Thursday. Our PE uniform is a white t-shirt, black shorts, plimsolls/trainers, plain joggers (no branding), school jumper for outdoors. Please remove earrings for PE.
