What another busy week we’ve had in Year 1 this week! The children have worked incredibly hard.
In English we have been reading ‘Stickman’ and talking about what happened in the story. We explored the characters and what they used Stickman for. The children wrote some wonderful sentences about the story. The children also drew some amazing pictures of what they would use Stickman for.
In Maths we have been exploring part-whole models and then progressed onto writing number sentences with the addition symbol.
In Topic we have been exploring what the weather is like around the world.
