What another busy week we’ve had in Year 1 this week! The children have worked really hard.
In English we have been reading ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ and talking about what happened in the story. We explored rhyming words and then the children wrote some wonderful sentences about the story. The children also drew some amazing pictures of their favourite part of the story.
In Maths we have been comparing numbers, ordering objects and numbers we then progressed onto using a number line to identify numbers that are greater than or less than a number..
In Topic we have been exploring where is my country in the world. We then progressed onto identifying the 7 Continents of the world.
