YEAR 1 CLASS NEWS – 16.01.26

We have had a wonderful week in Year 1 and the children have worked incredibly hard!

In English we are continuing our Place Value of Punctuation and Grammar (PVPG). This week we have been identifying the subject and verb in a sentence. We then progressed onto building single-clause sentences.

In Maths we have been identifying and sorting 2D shapes. We then progressed onto making patterns with shapes.

In Topic this week we have located the United Kingdom and Mexico on a world map. We also compared the United Kingdom and Mexico.
