YEAR 1 CLASS NEWS – 13.02.26

We have had a wonderful week in Year 1 and the children have worked incredibly hard!

In English, we have been exploring the features of a postcard in preparation to write our own postcard.

In Maths we have been learning addition within 20.

In Topic this week we have wrote a fact file about Mexico.

Notices

Across this term, we are looking at the season of Winter. In school, we are making a display about how we celebrate this season. If you go on any Winter walks, or anything linked to Winter, we would love to see! Please send a photo to the school address and we will be able to share it with the class, and on our display. We look forward to sharing your wonderful experiences.

Homework – Homework will be handed out every Friday to be returned the following Wednesday.

Water bottles – Plastic water bottles only.

PE – Our PE days this term are Wednesday and Thursday. Our PE uniform is a white t-shirt, black shorts, plimsolls/trainers, plain joggers (no branding), school jumper for outdoors. Please remove earrings for PE.

Who gets this cookie: When a hidden URL defined by the site admin is visited, this cookie is set to verify the user can access the site from a country restricted through country blocking.
