What another busy week we’ve had in Year 1 this week!
In English we have been practising our letter formation, matching upper case and lower case letters, writing CVC and CVCC words and then progressed onto writing simple dictated sentences.
In Maths we have been practising our number formation, recognising numbers as words, representing numbers with different objects and then progressed onto counting on from any number.
In Topic we have been exploring where our school is located and what landmarks are in our local area. We also explored Human and Physical features.
We had lots of fun painting the Transporter Bridge in Art!
