We are so proud of the children this week for their resilience during assessment week, they all tried so hard!
In science, the children really enjoyed making electrical circuits in groups. They were given different challenges to solve and worked brilliantly together to overcome them. In our topic lessons, we made a rain gauge and a weather vane so we can start collecting weather data. The children have been going outside to measure rainfall, check the temperature, observe the clouds and record the wind direction. In English, we have begun drafting our setting descriptions based on The Anywhere Emporium and the children have been using lots of imaginative ideas to bring their settings to life.
