Class News – 1.5.26

Children have been settling into the summer term and ,like the weather, their work has been brilliant!

In English, we have been using our research to begin writing our non-chronological report, focusing on animals found in the Amazon Rainforest. In Science, we have begun our new topic, ‘Light’. Furthermore, learning about and sorting different light sources. In Topic, we have identified and explored the layers of the rainforests and the life within them. It has been a wonderful second week of the summer term.

Notices and dates

Our PE days this half term are Monday and Thursday. Please send your child to school wearing the correct PE kit on these days. Thank you for your support.

Upcoming dates:

Thank you to all that attended our Y3 Open Afternoon on Thursday. I know the children enjoyed sharing their wonderful work.

Our Coffee, Cake and Chapters event is on Friday 8th May at 2.30pm-3.00pm. Please return slips ASAP to inform us if you are able to attend.
