WELCOME BACK – 07.11.25

We have had a wonderful first week back! The children have settled back into our daily routine well and worked incredibly hard.

In English we have introduced Place Value of Punctuation and Grammar (PVPG). As part of this we have focused on common nouns and proper nouns.

In Maths we have been solving addition problems and progressed onto to subtraction.

This term our Topic is Famous Explores. As part of this topic we will be learning about Captain James Cook.

Notices

Homework – Homework will be handed out every Friday to be returned the following Wednesday.

Spellings – spellings will be handed out every Friday for the children to practise ready for our spelling quiz the following Friday.

Coats -The weather is changing and is unpredictable. Please can children bring a coat to school every day.

Water bottles – Plastic water bottles only.

PE – Our PE days this term are Monday and Wednesday. Our PE uniform is a white t-shirt, black shorts, plimsolls/trainers, plain joggers (no branding), school jumper for outdoors. Please remove earrings for PE.
