Class News-6.3.26

What a wonderful week we have had! This week, it has been our World Book Week. We have enjoyed a week full of celebrating reading and books! The focus text for Y3 has been Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We have spent the week reading different versions of the story and even wrote our own alternative versions! We became news reporters and reported on Goldilocks and her intrusions into the Three Bear’s house. We also made some fantastic art work. We then enjoyed taking part in a storybook QR hunt, a whole-school quiz and to finish, a dress up day in school. Wow!

Marvellous Middlesbrough

Our topic this half term is ‘Marvellous Middlesbrough.’ We will be learning about the history of Middlesbrough, famous landmarks and people who make Middlesbrough special. If the children have any photos or objects linked to Middlesbrough that they would like to bring into school, this would be super!

Our PE days this half term are Monday and Wednesday.

Pupils of the Week

Well done to our Pupils of the Week:

2AJ- Charlotte for showing extra creativity in her writing and illustrations. Well done!

Birthdays

A big Happy Birthday to River.
