Weekly News 29.11.24

Another busy week this week, the children enjoyed listening to the story of The Stickman and interacted with a range of activities. The children have interacted well in all the areas, getting messy and being creative in the painting and sticky area, painting and making stickmen. They have also enjoyed putting jigsaws together, looking through books, playing together in the role play area and building structures in the construction area. They have also enjoyed singing with the reception children, helping them with their nativity. Mrs Short and worked with the children building on their ball skills, rolling, bouncing and catching balls.

Key notices

Shared Reading Books – Every child has received a book and a reading record and the books are changed every Friday. Please can you make sure that your child brings their book and reading record back to nursery on a Thursday or Friday to change. At the end of term, certificates will be handed out for good reading. It is very important to enjoy sharing books with your child, helping them build on their vocabulary and imagination.

Arriving on time

It is important that your child arrives in nursery on time, so that they are settled and are ready for the register and input.

Morning door open 8.30am-8.45am

Afternoon door opens 12.15pm-12.30pm

Stars of the Week

Well Done Kate (morning) who has received the ‘Star of the Week’ certificate, for enjoying interacting in the areas with her friends. Super effort Kate!
