Weekly News 8.11.24

Welcome back! The nursery children all came back settled in nursery and enjoyed interacting with their friends in all the different areas. There were many enjoyable activities this week and the children made wonderful creations. Firstly, for maths we focused on 2D shapes and had 1:1 activities identifying the 2D shapes and creating pictures with shapes. Then the children learnt about the importance of keeping safe on Bonfire night and also created so wonderful firework paintings and firework models. Later in the week, the children listened to the traditional story of ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and while making their pictures of the three different houses, story maps and paintings, the children were able to retell the story. We ended the week with Remembrance day, creating poppies and painting poppies – amazing Artists!
