Class News – 7.11.25

We have had a lovely first week back at school! The children have settled back into their routines and have been working super hard.

In English, we have been exploring non-chronological reports. We spotted the features of a non-chronological report and conducted our own research in preparation to write our own next week.

We have been developing our addition and subtraction skills this week. We have progressed to using column addition and have completed our first KIRF. We are continuing to practise our times tables in school. We have been focussing on the x4 times tables this week.

The United Kingdom and my region

This term we are exploring Great Britain and the United Kingdom. We are developing our skills and knowledge to answer the overarching question, ‘What are the key geographical features of the United Kingdom and my region?’ Below is the knowledge that will be covered in our topic lessons.

PE Days

Our PE days this term are Monday and Thursday.

This term we are developing our Cricket and Dodgeball skills in our PE sessions.
