Class News 09.01.26

We have had a wonderful week back in school. The children have been really settled and have thoroughly enjoyed their learning. We have had a wonderful performance of Beauty and the Beast from M&M productions which the children really enjoyed!

In English, we have explored the features of a narrative in preparation to begin to write our own.

In Maths, we have been exploring equal groups and arrays to support our understanding of multiplication.

In Science, we have started our new topic ‘Animals including humans’ and we have started with looking at the skeleton and its functions and identifying the bones in our skeleton.

We have introduced our new topic ‘Stone age to the Iron Age’ which has sparked a real interest for the children. We have used our Now Press Play resources to immerse the children in the Stone Age period.
