Welcome back Year 3!
It has been a wonderful first week back at school! The children have settled into Year 3 really well, following our new routines extremely well and we are very proud of them all. This week, we have completed lots of settling-in activities, enjoyed our maths lessons and had our first topic lesson. It has been lovely getting to know the children and seeing them settle into their new classroom and we are looking forward to starting our lessons properly next week and continuing to build on such a fantastic first week!
Notices and dates
PE
Our PE days this half term are Monday and Wednesday.
Please ensure your child comes to school on these days wearing their correct PE kit- white t-shirt, plain black shorts or joggers, a red jumper or hoodie and plain black plimsolls or trainers. Thank you for your continued support :-).
Reading books
The children will come home with their new reading log and reading book next week. Please listen to your child read when possible and sign their reading log. When the children are confident with their reading book, they can quiz on the book in school and can then choose a new reading book to take home. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
