Class News 4.10.24

It has been a busy week in Year 3 and Year 4 in English we have begun to identify the subject inside a sentence and in Maths we have being finishing off our work on place value. I n science we investigated magnetic forces looking at which materials were attracted to magnets and which were repelled. In topic we have continued to discover more about Middlesbrough the town where we live whilst also learning about towns in French.

A quick reminder for the Year 4 children in 2CR who have returned their swimming letters swimming starts on Monday 7th October and will continue every day for two weeks with the final session being on Friday 18th October. Please send them to school every day with appropriate kit.

Kit should include:

Swimming costume, trunks or shorts.

Towel.

Goggles (optional).

No jewellery to be warn please. Earrings must be removed.
