We have had another fantastic week, this week. The children have tried so hard with all their work.
In English, we have started to look at subjects. We now know that every sentence needs at least one subject and one verb. In our reading immersion lessons, we have been looking at an extract from ‘Macbeth’ by William Shakespeare. The children loved reading the poem ‘The Spell’ and taking on the role of magical people. In Maths, we have been working on consolidating our number bonds and linking these to related facts.
We have continued lots of exciting work around our topic of ‘Our Local Area’. We have been using maps and atlases to find out where we live in the world.
We are looking forward to another fantastic week, next week.
