What another fantastic week we have had in Year Two. Across the week, the children have undertaken lots of jobs to see how they are doing in Reading, Writing and Maths. They have all tried incredibly hard and Miss Wilson and myself are so very proud of them.
In our English lessons, we have begun to look at the features of a diary. To help us with this, we have looked at diaries from the Great Fire of London. In our Maths lessons, we have been learning about length and measurement.
This half term, our topic will be ‘The Great Fire of London’ and the children will be learning all about the events of 1666, why the fire spread so quickly as well as how London was rebuilt after the fire.
Notices

Across this term, we are looking at the season of Spring. In school, we are making a display about how we celebrate this season. If you go on any Spring walks, or anything linked to Spring, we would love to see! Please send a photo to the school address and we will be able to share it with the class, and on our display. We look forward to sharing your wonderful experiences.
