We have had another brilliant week, this week. The children have tried so hard with all their work.
In English, we have continued to look at single-clause sentences. We know that every sentence needs at least one subject and one verb and we can now label any leftover information. In our reading immersion lessons, we have been looking at an extract from ‘The night when the sky sparkled’. The children loved predicting what would happen with the Light Fairy. In Maths, we have been working on our addition and subtraction skills.
We have continued lots of exciting work around our topic of ‘Our Local Area’. We have been using maps and atlases to find out where we live in the world.
We are looking forward to another fantastic week, next week.
Notices

Across this term, we are looking at the season of Autumn. In school, we are making a display about how we celebrate this season. If you go on any Autumn walks, pumpkin picking trips or anything linked to Autumn, we would love to see! Please send a photo to the school address and we will be able to share it with the class, and on our display. We look forward to sharing your wonderful experiences.
