We have had another fabulous week in Year 3! The children have been working extremely hard and we are so proud of them!
In English, we started to plan, edit and publish our last 2 paragraphs of our non-chronological report about Great Britain. The children have learned so many interesting facts and it has been lovely to see their new knowledge reflected in their work.
In Topic, we looked at the human geographical features of the UK and explored some key landmarks.
In Science, we looked at igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks and we explored how each of these are formed. We then classified some known rocks into these categories.
We have seen some huge progress with our Cricket skills this week. The children are thoroughly enjoying their sessions with our Coach Owen from ‘Chance 2 Shine’.
PE Days
Our PE days this term are Monday and Thursday.
This term we are developing our Cricket and Dodgeball skills in our PE sessions.
