Class News- 17.10.25

We have had another super week. In English, the children have been amazing at identifying the subject and verb in a sentence and adding the correct punctuation. In Maths, we have started to explore different strategies to help us add and subtract. In Topic, we learned about how the pyramids were built, as well as invasions and battles that happened. We then made some superb Egyptian artwork. To conclude our wonderful week, we had a visit from Middlesbrough’s Fire Brigade. They came into school to give us some top-tips on how to stay safe on Bonfire Night. Then, the Year 3 children were extremely lucky and got to sit in the fire engine and spray the hose! Wow!

Well done to our Pupils of the Week:

2TS – Madison for her wonderful attitude towards her work and for working with increased independence. Well done!

Birthdays

There are no birthdays this week in Year 3. We would like to wish everyone who may be celebrating a big happy birthday! 🙂
