We have had another brilliant week, this week. The children have tried so hard with all their work.
In English, we have started to look at single-clause sentences. We now know that every sentence needs at least one subject and one verb. In our reading immersion lessons, we have been looking at an extract from ‘The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe’ by C. S. Lewis. The children love predicting which characters they would find in Narnia. In Maths, we have been working on consolidating our number bonds and linking these to bridging across ten.
We have continued lots of exciting work around our topic of ‘Our Local Area’. We have been using maps and atlases to find out where we live in the world.
We are looking forward to another fantastic week, next week.
