They will take place from Tuesday – Thursday from 8.40 – 9.10. Please see the timetable below for your child’s class. This is an opportunity to come into school and share a story with your child.
Monday:
- EYFS in classrooms
- Year 1 children in the hall
Tuesday:
- Year 2 children in the hall
Wednesday:
- Year 3 children in the hall
Thursday:
Year 4 children in the hall
Please bring your child into school as normal, they will hang their coats up and then meet you in the hall to share a story.
Our children in UKS2 will have the opportunity to visit EYFS to share stories with our youngest children over the week.
On Wednesday, each phase will take part in a carousel of activities with teachers from their Key Stage. On Friday, the children will have the opportunity to listen to a story read by a teacher from another class.
Themed Day
To end our reading week, on Friday 6th March, we’re inviting the children and staff to dress up as a character from a traditional tale. There is no cost for this event. If children don’t wish to take part, they can come to school in their uniform.
