Class News – 10.10.25

We have had another fantastic week in Year 3! We have been super busy!

In English, we have been exploring a range of verbs, including regular and irregular action verbs. We have done lots of practical activities to aid our understanding.

In Maths, we have been comparing and ordering numbers to 1000. We have also moved on to our addition and subtraction learning which we are enjoying!

In Topic, we have been learning about how the pyramids were built and we even built our own pyramids using a range of different materials.

Notices and dates

PE

Our PE days this half term are Monday and Thursday.

Please ensure your child comes to school on these days wearing their correct PE kit- white t-shirt, plain black shorts or joggers, a red jumper or hoodie and plain black plimsolls or trainers. Thank you for your continued support :-).

Reading books

Thank you for the excellent reading so far! Please continue to listen to your child read when possible and sign their reading log. When the children are confident with their reading book, they can quiz on the book in school and can then choose a new reading book to take home.
