In preparation for our autumn walk after the half term we have begun to explore and learn about autumn. The children have created autumn trees in the painting area and we are currently working on creating autumn leaves to border a display of the creations we hope you will all make during our parent event after the half term!
They have also enjoyed exploring a variety of autumn items and used language to describe how the leaves sounds, feel and look; alongside size vocabulary when comparing our pumpkin/squash and conker collection.
We have also continued to work on sharing and working together in our play and all of our children have enjoyed working together on building projects. We have been building a variety of structures including castles, cars, hospitals, houses, zoos and vets!
