Happy Friday! Time is whizzing towards the end of Year 3 but we are still managing to do lots of activities. In English this week we finished the drafts of our diary entries ready to check, edit and then publish next week. In Maths we continued our work on time, looking at digital time, days of the week and months of the year. In Science we carried out an investigation on transparent, translucent and opaque materials which was really interesting. We all took part in a NowPressPlay activity as part of our Topic this week which was about Romans and the invasion of Boudicca. We continued our Dance practise in PE and performed our routines. We also practised some of our events for Sports Day and will hopefully see you all on Monday for our rescheduled Sports Day (weather permitting).
Some of our Y3 girls and boys enjoyed taking part in some football festivals this week. They gave it their all, well done children! We have also been practising something special for you all which will be happening next Tuesday (11th) at 1.10pm (you should have received an invitation for it yesterday). We are all very excited for this and can’t wait to see you all there!
Have a lovely weekend, see you on Monday. Don’t forget children will need their PE kits (with coloured house tops) ready for Sports Day 🙂
