Year 4 12th – 16th June 17

We have had a fantastic week celebrating our learning journey so far in year 4, showcasing our work in a class assembly.

In English this week Y4 have had a debate on whether animals should be kept in captivity or be released. We have been writing an adventure story about a sea creature desperately trying to escape captivity.

In Maths we have continued our hard work tackling fractions. We have been focusing on adding and subtracting fractions and completing fraction riddles.

During our science lessons we have been researching unusual sea creatures and discussed how the sea creatures could be grouped by appearance. We then created a classification key.
